Thank you for choosing Golden Aurora Art Studio. Please review the following policies carefully before registering. These policies help keep classes consistent and fair for all students and families.

REGISTRATION & TUITION

• A $25 annual registration fee is required and is non-refundable.
• Tuition is based on the number of scheduled classes each month: $100 for a 4-class month and $125 for a 5-class month.
• Tuition is due before the beginning of each month and reserves the student’s space for the entire month.
• Tuition is not prorated or refunded for classes missed by the student.

CANCELLATION / DISCONTINUATION

• A minimum of 15 days’ written notice is required to discontinue classes.
• If 15 days’ notice is not provided before the next billing cycle, the upcoming month’s tuition will remain due.
• Registration fees and tuition already paid are non-refundable.

ABSENCES & MAKEUP CLASSES

• One makeup class per student may be provided each month for an eligible missed regular class when advance notice is given.
• Makeup classes are offered during designated makeup sessions and are subject to availability.
• Only one makeup class is available per month, regardless of the number of regular classes missed.
• Makeup classes cannot be carried over to another month.
• Missed makeup classes cannot be rescheduled.
• Makeup classes cannot be exchanged for refunds or tuition credit.

STUDIO-CANCELLED CLASSES

If Golden Aurora Art Studio cancels a regularly scheduled class, a replacement class or another appropriate arrangement will be provided. A studio-cancelled class will not count toward the student’s monthly makeup allowance.

ILLNESS & SAFETY

Please do not bring a student to class when they have a fever, contagious illness, or symptoms that could affect other students. Parents/guardians are responsible for providing current emergency contact information.

Students will use common art materials and tools during class. Parents/guardians acknowledge that participation in art activities involves ordinary risks associated with these materials and activities.

DROP-OFF & PICK-UP

Parents/guardians are responsible for timely drop-off and pickup. Students are supervised during their scheduled class time. Please notify me in advance if someone other than the usual parent/guardian will be picking up your child.

ART MATERIALS & PERSONAL BELONGINGS

Basic art supplies are provided during class. Depending on the student’s level or project, students may be asked to bring materials from the recommended supply list.

Art materials may stain clothing. Students should wear appropriate clothing for art activities. Golden Aurora Art Studio is not responsible for damage to clothing or personal belongings resulting from normal art activities.

PHOTO, VIDEO & ARTWORK PERMISSION

Parents/guardians will be given the choice to grant or decline permission for photographs, videos, and/or images of their child’s artwork to be used by Golden Aurora Art Studio for its website, social media, art-show promotion, and other studio promotional materials.

Declining photo/video permission will not affect a student’s ability to participate in classes.

PARENT/GUARDIAN ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By registering for classes, I acknowledge that I have read and understand the Golden Aurora Art Studio Registration Agreement & Waiver and agree to follow the registration, tuition, cancellation, attendance, makeup, safety, and studio policies described above.
